PURPOSE:To obtain a copolyester which can be molded at a low temp., has a high drawdown resistance, and is suitable for direct blow molding. CONSTITUTION:A copolyester is obtd. from a dicarboxylic acid component mainly comprising terephthalic acid and a diol component mainly comprising ethylene glycol and contg. 0.5-10mol% cyclohexanedimethanol and 1-4mol% diethylene glycol and has a germanium content of 20-60ppm, a terminal carboxyl group content of 18 equivalents/ton or lower, a cyclic trimer content of 0.40wt.% or lower, an intrinsic viscosity of 0.65-1.50dl/g, a crystallization temp. of 170-195 deg.C, and a heat of crystallization of 0.5-15mj/mg. |
