<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operation efficiency at the time of focus movement to the window in a next layer by setting a display screen in focus movement mode, performing focus movement between windows in the same layer by a specifying means, and also performing focus movement between windows in different layers by another specifying means. CONSTITUTION:When a character key on a keyboard 2 is pressed, control information is sent to a central control part 5, window display selection data are referred to by referring to a memory 6, and an instruction is sent to an output control part 4 to perform selection control over a window on an image display device 1. When it is judged that a key pressed in the focus movement mode is a specification key and the specification key is a movement key for movement in the same layer, the focus is moved to a window positioned on the left or right side of the window where the focus is currently present with the key pressed once. When the specification key is a focus movement key for movement between different layers, the foremost screen where the focus is currently present is moved to the rearmost screen with the key pressed once, the layer is moved to the frontmost screen, and the focus is moved.</p> |
