<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electophotographic toner enhanced in adhesiveness to core particles without impairing fixability necessary for a binder resin and mechanical strength and being affected by the chargeability of a colorant and causing rise of toner particle diameter due to attachment and aggregation among themselves, and the core of the toner is capable of being applied to an encapsulated liquid toner without requiring any specified device or operation and good in the environmental stability of chargeability, and to provide a method for producing this toner. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic toner is obtained by polymerizing a monomer adsorbed to the surface of each toner material particle in an aqueous medium. It is preferred that the toner has a capsule structure, and its outer shell is made of a polyurea resin and/or a polyurethane resin, or an epoxyurea resin and/or an epoxyurethane resin.</p> |
