PURPOSE:To use a preceding video image with convenience by automatically storing a video image of a current talking opposite party to a memory before a line is switched when interrupt by a call-waiting takes service place so as to leave the preceding video image even when the talking is switched. CONSTITUTION:When an interrupt by a call-waiting takes place and the depression of a line changeover switch (a hook switch of a telephone set or a changeover switch of a remote commander) is detected, a CPU 11 stores at first a video image of a current opposite party to a memory 16c. Then the CPU 11 provides an output of a switching signal to a telephone network to switch an exchange of the telephone network, displays a video image of a new opposite party to a liquid crystal display section 8 and the preceding video image stored in the memory 16c is displayed onto a PinP(picture-in-picture display part). |
