MOLDING METHOD OF HOUSING OF VEHICLE LIGHTING DEVICE AND VEHICLE LIGHTING DEVICE WITH THE HOUSING

PURPOSE:To form a vehicle lighting device with an improved appearance and quality by forming projection for a hook of a lens foot part insertion connected in the vicinity of opening part of one vertical wall in a seal groove of a housing. CONSTITUTION:At the circumferential edge of opening part of a housing 1 a seal groove 2 having a substantially U-shaped form composed of a pair of parallel vertical walls 2a, 2b and a bottom face 2c is formed. In the vicinity of opening of one vertical wall 2a, a projection 3a toward the vertical wall 2b is formed. The projection 3a is formed with a slide tool sliding in the groove along it by at least the width of the projection 3a. A foot 12 of lens 11 is inserted into the groove 2, and the projection is used as a hook and the projection 3a is engaged as a hook engaging part, then on the bottom face 2c, a seal material 14 is sealed. A vehicle lighting tool 10 is provided in this way.
