<p>PURPOSE:To extend a service area without increasing a centralized control center by providing a two-step repeating system at a prescribed position of a distribution line at which a carrier signal is attenuated, and transmitting a control signal and continuous data to be conveyed at a prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:The control signal for automatic meter inspection from the business office 2 of an electric power company is outputted to a distribution line carrier frequency communication repeater 6 through a telephone line 4 and a communication line 5, and is injected to a low-tension distribution line 7. The carrier signal is transmitted in the low-tension distribution line 7 and is inputted to the automatic meter inspecting terminal equipment 8b of each consumer, and reads the continuous data, and is transmitted again to the distribution line carrier frequency communication repeater 6 through the low-tension distribution line 7. Then, to the consumer 8 incapable of receiving the carrier signal because it is distant from the distribution line carrier frequency communication repeater 6, the carrier signal is conveyed through the two-step repeating system 10 installed at a prescribed position of the distribution line 7 at which the carrier signal is attenuated below a prescribed level. The two-step repeating system 10 receives the control signal and the continuous data to be conveyed, and after storing them temporarily, transmits them at the prescribed level after, adding a specific address to them.</p> |
