<p>PURPOSE:To provide a device which is capable of deciding whether the feature part of an image to be utilized for the overlap joint exists in the overlapped area of partial images or not. CONSTITUTION:On the optical axis of a total reflection mirror 101, a lens part 103 and a half mirror 104 are provided, first CCD 105 and second CCD 106 as imagers are placed, and a first process circuit 107 and a second process circuit 108 for converting incident light 102 fetched in the imager into a video signal and making light correspond to the signal are provided. This device is provided with a boundary buffer 11 1 for temporarily holding overlapped areas, a motion vector detection part 1 12 comparing the contents of the boundary buffer 111 and the contents of the overlapped area of the partial image fetched next with the partial image fetched previously, finding the feature part of the image and detecting the deviation of them, a deviation amount calculation part 113 for calculating deviation amount by utilizing the detection result and a coordinate conversion part 1 10 for correcting the location of the partial image fetched next in accordance with the partial image fetched previously and from the calculated deviation amount and overlapping the overlapped images.</p> |
