<p>PURPOSE:To accurately detect image blurring in accordance with the state of a photographing lens by restricting an area which is made effective by an area sensor and preventing the detection of image blurring in an ineffective area. CONSTITUTION:Image information is inputted in the area sensor 110 from an optical system dedicated to detecting the shake of a camera. The correlative arithmetic operation of two image data temporally different is two-dimensionally performed to detect image blurring, and an image blurring correcting driving system 113 is actuated in accordance with the image blurring data. The data expressing the effective area by the area sensor 110 according to a focal distance is stored in a ROM 114. From information on the area used to detect the image blurring, which is read out from the ROM 114, only the data on the area is read out from a memory 112, and the correlative arithmetic operation of a signal before one sequence with a previous signal is performed to detect the image blurring. The image blurring correcting system 113 is actuated according to the detected image blurring data so as to correct the image blurring.</p> |
