<p>PURPOSE:To provide a taxi meter preventing the operation of an extra tariff mode due to the erroneous control of a extra tariff by the use of a simple device construction. CONSTITUTION:In the taxi meter calculating the fare by accumulating the distance pulse to be outputted from a sensor, a tariff switch 1 giving command for the fare calculation, means 2 for measuring the pressing time which measures the time when the tariff switch 1 is depressed, and pressing mode start means 3 starting the calculation of the extra tariff when the time measured by the means 2 is longer by a specified time compared with the other tariff at the time of the depression for the extra tariff.</p> |
