PURPOSE:To provide a current switch for a superconducting electromagnet which enables easy maintenance, inspection, servicing or exchange operation. CONSTITUTION:A helium container 23 is provided, wherein either liquid helium or gaseous helium is switched by a three way valve in a helium piping system and introduced thereto through a helium introduction tube 29. A switch side superconductive coil 24 is contained inside the helium container 23. An entire of the helium container 23 is contained inside a vacuum container 25. The conduction state of the switch side superconductive coil 24 is switched to either superconductivity or normal conductivity. |
