SOCKET FOR ELECTRONIC PART

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost at the time of using an electronic part, which is provided with multiple contact pins. CONSTITUTION:A cover housing 12 and a base housing 14 are respectively divided into plural parts, and they are fitted in a driving frame 17 and a lever force receiving frame 19. The driving frame 17 is supported freely to be slid in parallel with the lever force receiving frame 19, and connected through a moving mechanism 23 for converting the turning operation of a handle 29 to the operation along the contact pin connecting/disconnecting direction. A mold die for forming the cover housing 12 and the base housing 14 has the structure at a low cost, which is provided with a small number of contact pins.
