High resolution biomedical echograph apparatus e.g for cardiology

The apparatus uses a real time signal processor positioned at the output of the ultrasound collector. An amplifier and an A/D convertor are included for each channel. Each converter is connected to a time base and a digitiser is connected to a high definition display screen. The display works with a pass band in the megahertz range and a sampling speed of at least 100 million samples per second. Each channel can be displaced on the display screen both horizontally and vertically in order to establish correlation between channels.
