The bottom sheet (2), which covers the mattress (1) has one part of a fastener (5) fixed to its end part. The other part of the fastener is fixed to the end of a top sheet (3) or a duvet cover (4). The fastener is a slide clasp fastener which is metallic or made of plastic material. The fastener can be strips of hooked pile fasteners or press studs. One part of the fastener is fixed to the top of the bottom sheet at the end of the bed.
