HEADPHONE REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To fix a sound image in a front part(outside a head) in the same way as that of speaker reproduction at the time of headphone reproduction. CONSTITUTION:A direction detecting circuit 12 detects the direction theta of a viewer 4. A setting circuit 13a reads the inpulse responce of right and left ears for a sound source from a storage circuit 14a and sets it in FIR filters 2c and 2d. The FIR filters 2c and 2d convolutes an acoustic signal from an input terminal 1 by specified inpulse responce and outputs the acoustic signal to the listener 4 with a headphone 3. Thus, the dynamic convolution of inpulse responce can be executed in accordance with the movement of the listener 4 so that the sound image fixing in the front part is realized at the time of headphone 3 reproduction.
