PURPOSE:To generate various character patterns by generating a new type face character font from plural existing type faces incorporated beforehand. CONSTITUTION:Plural type faces character fonts provided with the same data structure and only whose co-ordinate values of the co-ordinate data are different from each other are stored in font memories 11-1 to 11-n in a character font generation device 8. A synthesis ratio of respective character fonts of the same character and whose type faces are different from each other is specified from a key operation part 2. Then, a type face composing device 12 generates the new type face character font by synthesizing the co-ordinate data each other in a corresponding relation in respective character fonts based on the specified synthesis ratio. A main control part 1 generates the character pattern from the character foot. |
