PURPOSE:To transfer an image quickly without deteriorating its picture quality with small-sized, simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:When an optical communication is performed between a 1st and a 2nd device by providing an optical signal transmission means which has plural light emitting elements, a detecting circuit 120 detects the isolation position state between the 1st and 2nd devices, and according to the detection signal s1 outputted by the detecting circuit 120, a transfer system for parallel data is selected when the 1st and 2nd devices are close to each other to shorten the transfer time corresponding to the number of the light emitting and receiving elements, thereby transferring the data quickly without increasing the compression ratio of the data unnecessarily or decreasing information processing quality per unit time. |
