PURPOSE:To simplify the flange structure and to reduce the parts number and the assembling manhour by forming the flange itself with a specific conductive material and electrically connecting a photosensitive layer to a drum driving axis without using a member for earthing. CONSTITUTION:Flanges 5, 6 are mounted and fixed at both ends of a base body 2 by force-fitting or adhesion and consist of a plastic material having conductivity of below 100OMEGA.cm volume resistivity. Such material may include PC resin, ABS resin, PPO resin, POM resin, nylon, or the like or an alloy resin thereof mixed with conductive materials such as carbon fiber and metallic powder. By making the flange itself conductive, the member for earthing formerly used is unnecessary and the part number and the assembling manhour are reduced. The problem of continuity inferiority between the driving axis and the photosensitive layer caused by a drop of the member for earthing, etc., does not occur. |
