PURPOSE:To obtain good acoustic image localization and a good low frequency characteristic by supplying a sound source in parallel to the headphones of an inner ear type and an auricle type, and providing a means to attenuate the reproduction of a high frequency component in the auricle type headphone. CONSTITUTION:A headphone system 1 is constituted by connected the inner ear type headphone 2 and the auricle type headphone 3 in parallel, and the signal cords 2a, 3a of each headphone 2, 3 are connected electrically at a point P. Then, a recessed part 3b is formed on a case body of the auricle type headphone 3 as a high frequency attenuating means to attenuate the reproduction of the high frequency component. Besides, an electric attenuating means like a low pass filter, etc., can be used as the high frequency attenuating means, and also, a physical means other than the recessed part 3b can be used. Thus, the good acoustic image loacalization peculiar to the inner ear type and the good low frequency characteristic peculiar to the auricle type can be obtained. |
