The method consists of cutting off a band of the filtering film from a large roll. The band is then introduced inside the honeycombs of the panel. The system comprises a support (2,4) which takes a roll (5) of a band (6) of thin material. An injection chamber (7) unrolls the band and projects it in a given direction. The injection chamber has compressed air inlet orifices (8a,8b) with a slot (9) for the entry of the band and a slot (10) for exit of the band. The lower shape of the injection chamber is profiled such that the compressed air which enters it through the inlet orifice is led to exhaust through the band exit slot whilst driving the band. The thickness of the slots is adjustable as a function of the band thickness. The injection chamber projecting the band gives it an undulating movement.
