The vehicle (1) has a chassis (2), carrying its main mechanical components and at least four wheels (6). A body shell (3), with a peripheral structure (4), encloses the occupants from the waist down. This body shell is fixed rigidly to the chassis, but is possibly detachable. Each wheel may be driven by a hydraulic motor (7), supplied by oil from a pump (8). The pump may be driven by an internal combustion engine (9). The chassis and superstructure may be tubular, vertical sections (11) being joined by cross members (12). Plates, fixed to the body may carry tools.
