PRODUCTION OF LIGHT EMITTING SHEET WHICH EMITS FLUORESCENT COLOR BY IRRADIATION WITH UV RAY

PURPOSE:To easily obtain a surface fluorescent display device by irradiation with UV rays by laminating a light emitting layer consisting of a UV light emitting material and a back layer on a base sheet, then peeling this base sheet from this light emitting layer. CONSTITUTION:The light emitting layer 20 is formed by applying the UV light emitting material which is a mixture composed of a fluorescent material and a resin soln. on the base sheet 10 formed by subjecting one surface of a polyester film to silicone coating and drying the coating. For example, a polyurethane resin added with a methyl ethyl ketone is used as the solvent of this resin and the sp. gr. of the fluorescent material is set >=3 times the sp. gr. of the resin soln. formed by mixing the resin with the solvent. Further, the the resin soln. formed by mixing, for example, the polyurethane resin and the solvent and adding pigments at need thereto is applied atop the light emitting layer 20 and is dried to form the back layer 40 and to integrate the light emitting layer 20 and the back layer 40. The base sheet 10 is thereafter peeled from the light emitting layer 20.
