PURPOSE:To revise attribute, relation and procedure to an object in an object oriented database independently of schema definition information. CONSTITUTION:A database 107 stores a component object storing object and object revision information, a dictionary 108 managed by a component object management section 102 and an object management section 103 stores a component object storing object definition information and revision information of definition information, a view management section 101 managed by a dictionary management section 104 manages a view generating dynamically object definition information and an object after definition revision via each of the management sections 102, 103, 103 on the user request. An update history management section 105 extracts an object revision history from the component object and provides an output to a journal 106. |
