<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electrostatic charging member for an amorphous silicon photoreceptor which is uniform in resistance value, is stably supplied, has durability, maintains the resistance value stably under environmental conditions, is free from worrying about pinhole leak and photoreceptor staining and has excellent quality and a long life. CONSTITUTION:This electrostatic charging member for electrophotography to be used for electrostatically charging a photoreceptor mainly composed of amorphous silicon has a porous anodically oxidized aluminum film 2 formed by anodically oxidizing the surface of a substrate 1 consisting of at least aluminum or an aluminum alloy. A metal 4 are preferably packed in the pore of the porous anodically oxidized aluminum film 2 or a conductive material formed out of the oxyacid salt of a transition metal or pure water is preferably stuck to the inside walls of the pores of the porous anodically oxidized aluminum film 2.</p> |
