PURPOSE:To realize an optimum top and bottom raster distortion correction in accordance with the horizontal frequency of video input signals in the raster distortion correcting circuit of a multiscan type television receiver. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal period sawtooth type current is transmitted to a super-saturated reactor 5 through a dummy flyback transformer 4. Resonance operation is generated at the resonance frequency defined by the inductance of the reactor 5 and capacities of resonance capacitors 8a, 8b, 8c and 8d and a top and bottom raster distortion correcting current is generated. By turning on any of switching elements 8e, 8f, 8g and 8h and making the resonance frequency match the horizontal frequency, a top and bottom raster distortion correcting current corresponding to the horizontal frequency is generated. |
