PURPOSE:To detect force exerted on a key from the start of the movement of the key until after-touch and to control musical sound corresponding to the force with simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:When the stopper piece 1c of the key 1 is detached from an upper limit stopper part 4e by key depressing, upward force exerted on a stopper member 4 is eliminated by the depressing force of a key recovery spring 3 and downward force by gravity is exerted. After the stopper piece 1c of the key 1 is abutted on a lower limit stopper part 4d, the force corresponding to the key depressing force is exerted and a vertical direction flexible part 4c is bent downward. Also, when the force in the horizontal direction is applied to the key 1, the stopper member 4 horizontally rocks through a key guiding part 5 and a horizontal flexible part 4b is horizontally bent. Thus, the resistance values of strain gauges 8A and 8B are changed and the force applied to the key 1 is detected. |
