PURPOSE:To provide a keyboard instrument capable of imparting complicated musical sound effects such as bivrato by key depressing operations other than the key depressing operations in a single direction without requiring delicate key touch. CONSTITUTION:This keyboard instrument is provided with a key frame 3, a main key 1 rockably supported through a rear end part 4 and a sub key 2 rotatably supported around the axial line A approximately vertical to a main key keyboard surface through the rear end part 22. The main key 1 and the sub key 2 are connected by a flexible rib 26 extended from a slide guide lower end part towards the sub key 2 in the upper vertical direction and recovery to a main key center position at the time of sub key rotation is made possible by the rib 26. By providing a piezoelectric sensor 27 in the rib 26, the change speed of rib deflection is detected and fast bivrato is applied to musical sound by the degree of the speed. |
