PURPOSE: To transmit information at a bit transmission rate higher than that of a known network. CONSTITUTION: A radio communication local area network includes plural stations S1 to S4, each of which is constituted of an information equipment M connected to radio transmitting/receiving IRR and IRE interface IR. Each information equipment M includes a coupler CE for transmitting a message having an address for specifying a station to be transmitted and receiving a message sent to itself. The local area network comprises a repeater R including radio transmitting/receiving interfaces IRE' and IRR' connected to a radiation type cable CR passing the vicinities of all stations in order to receive all messages transmitted from respective stations, to correct these messages so as to indicate the repeat of the messages by the repeater and to resend these messages to the cable CR.
