PURPOSE:To perform an unregistered word processing without increasing the number of times of dictionary retrieval and to cope with an unregistered word for which plural character kinds are mixed and one word is constituted well. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a word candidate generation part 4 for generating word candidates for constituting a word string from an analysis character string when the analysis character string is supplied and a word candidate verifying part 5 for obtaining the cost value of the word string by the total sum of the word cost of the word candidate as an index for indicating the easiness of the appearance of the word candidate constituting the word string and a connection cost as the index for indicating the easiness of chain linkage among the word candidates and defining the word string for which the cost value of the word string is minimum as a plausible solution. The word candidate generation part 4 generates unregistered word candidates for which the partial character string of the supplied analysis character string is rotation as the word candidates at all times. |
