PURPOSE:To use the document information on document titles, comment sentences, etc., acquired in modes other than a document contents input mode for the judgement of a field of conversion. CONSTITUTION:The information on the application fields corresponding to each character string of a dictionary used for conversion of a HIRAGANA (square form of Japanese syllabary) reading character string into a prescribed character string are stored in a ROM 2. Based on these stored information on the application fields of the dictionary, a microprocessor 1 discriminates an application field corresponding to the described character string of the document information on the document titles, the comment sentences, etc. Then the discriminated application field information is added to the application fields of the dictionary. Meanwhile the application field information acquired after addition of the application field are stored in an external storage 5. |
