PURPOSE:To realize the electronic wind instrument capable of performing the pitch conversion control in accordance with the direction of a breadth blown to a mouthpiece. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 5 generates pitch information corresponding to the fingering operation of a tone key 2 and detects the direction of a breadth blown through a mouthpiece 3 based on outputs of breath pressure sensors 4a to 4c or speed sensors provided in a mouthpiece 3. The CPU 5 performs the pitch conversion control of pitch information in accordance with this detected breadth direction to indicate the pitch of sounds to be emitted. As a result, pitch conversion control can be performed in accordance with the direction of the breadth blown to the mouthpiece 3. |
