PURPOSE:To improve an image blurring correcting effect all the more by preventing an exposure means from being actuated until output from an image blurring detecting means becomes smaller than a specified value. CONSTITUTION:When an image blurring correcting driving selection switch SWIS is turned on, an optical image is started to be stored in an image sensor included in a range-finding part 205. When a storage level attains a specified level, an optical image conversion signal from the image sensor is A/D converted and successively stored in a memory as a digital image signal a1. A phase difference (image blurring amount) (d) is arithmetically calculated based on an image signal a' before one sequence and the previous image signal a1. The image blurring amount (d) is compared with a specified threshold S. In the case of deciding that they are in the relation of d<=S, that is, in the case of deciding that what is left without correction is smaller than an allowable value, a main mirror 103 is made to be up so as to start exposure. In the case the image blurring amount (d) is larger than the threshold S, the storage of the optical image, the arithmetic operation of the image blurring amount (d) and the comparison of the image blurring amount with the threshold S are repeated by deciding that what is left without correction exists. |
