PURPOSE:To provide a character input device, game device, and character input method which enables an operator to perform character input operation which is neither troublesome nor complicated at a high speed and makes the operator neither feel stress nor perform wrong character input operation. CONSTITUTION:The operator performs the character input operation through an operation part 12 and a processing part 100 performs a processing for image composition on the basis of the operation signal from the operation part 12. And, an image composition part 10 composes an image bases on the image composing process of the processing part 100 and outputs the image to an image display part 10. Through the image composing process of the processing part 100, plural characters as candidates to be selected are displayed at the image display part 10. When the operator selects one of the characters through the operation part 12, modified characters of the selected character are selected and displayed at the image display part 10 so that even a modified character can be selected. |
