<p>PURPOSE:To surely detect the insertion of an illicit card with a conductor without using plate material to regulate the shape of a card storage part. CONSTITUTION:When an illicit card 3 with a conductor 5 is inserted from the card insertion port provided on one surface of a shielded case body to the card storage part within the case body and the external terminal 4 is brought into contact with a contact terminal 36', radio waves radiated within the body is induced in the conductor 5. The reception circuit 45 connected to the contact terminal 36' receives the radio wave signal radiated from the clock signal source CL1 within a communication control part 51 located apart from the card storage part out of signals appearing in the conductor 5 and transmits the detection output to a decision circuit 46. The decision circuit 46 detects the insertion of the illicit card with the conductor based on this detection output. In the process of this detection operation, a switch element 44 becomes an open state, and the contact terminal 36' and a processing circuit 50 are disconnected.</p> |
