PURPOSE:To set optimum diopter by reducing restrictions on an eye point for attaining specific light projection on the whole of an eye and extracting information on diopter with simple structure. CONSTITUTION:A projecting part 1 projecting light on the eye via a polarizing part 7 based on the signal of a diopter extracting part 3, a photodetector 2 receives the reflected light from the eye of a luminous flux via a diopter adjusting optical system 4 and a polarizing part 8 to convert the reflected light into an electric signal. The diopter extracting part 3 controls timing patterns for projecting and receiving the light and extracts the information on the diopter from the received signal, to attain the drive control of a driving part 6 and simultaneously display the information on the diopter on a display part 5. Then, the driving part 6 controls the diopter adjusting optical system 4 in response to the control signal of the diopter extracting part 3. |
