The assembly part is formed from a V section steel piece with a core (101) edged by two branches (102,103) ended with cutting edges (111,112). The core has one exterior smooth bottom face (105). The two branches (102,103) have external faces (104,106), at an angle to each other, and each joining the cutting edges formed with the internal surface (107,108) of the branch by a straight surface (109,110). The cutting edge is edged with two assembly strips (2,3) forming between them a negative clamping corner open in the direction of the cutting edge. The assembly part is housed in grooves (6,7) in two pieces of wood (8,9). By the negative clamping of the assembly strips the wooden pieces, which have a spacing (10), are tightened by the clamping part.
