The wheel set, designed for impressing the surfaces of steel rods used for reinforcing panels, beams, floors and other cement or concrete structures, has projections on the wheel edges which are inclined at 45 degrees to the wheel's direction of travel, with the projections on two of the wheels inclined in the same direction (left or right), while the projections on the third wheel are inclined in the opposite direction. In a variant of the design the wheel projections are at 90 degrees to their direction of travel. The dimensions of the wheel projections depend on the size and requirements of the rod, and the three wheels cover an angle of less than 360 degrees of the rod surface.
