PURPOSE:To reduce the arithmetic interpolation error of an approximation object function (interpolation function) where first order differential is discontinuous and to enable the overlapping of plural characteristics for the approximation object function, in a data transform device for which the arithmetic interpolation is used. CONSTITUTION:When output data F is obtained from input data (X1, X2, X3) in a data transform device, this output data F is obtained by the synthesis of the output A of a three-dimensional 8-point arithemetic interpolation part 101 on the function where first order differential is not discontinuous and the outputs B and K of one-dimensional LUT 103 and 104 on the function where first order differential is discontinous. As a result, the part where the first order differential is discontinous is not included in the arithmetic interpolation object function and the overlapping of plural characteristics becomes possible. |
