<p>PURPOSE: To provide a multi-function switch which provides a better system to easily and quickly use a zoom lens operation switch and a release switch by arranging these switches adjacently to each other and can be especially operated with merely bending operation of a finger without movement of the finger in other directions. CONSTITUTION: This multi-function switch for camera to which a zoom lens driven by a motor is provided with a release button 5, a telephoto button 1 which is brought into contact with the outer peripheral side of the release button 5 and drives the zoom lens toward the telephoto position, and a wide angle button 3 which is brought into contact with the outer peripheral side of the release button 5 and drives the zoom lens toward the wide angle position, and the release button 5 is arranged in the middle between the telephoto button 1 and the wide angle button 3, and these buttons are operated independently of each other.</p> |
