PURPOSE:To provide a photographic printing paper support having a cover layer made from an electron-beam-setting resin, with the yellowing rate of the layer greatly decreased during a developing process and the flexibility of the layer enhanced. CONSTITUTION:A support for photographic printing paper has a multilayer surface resin cover obtained by forming a back resin cover layer from a film- forming resin over one side of a paper base, then forming an inside resin cover layer from an electron-beam-setting resin over the opposite side of the paper base, and forming an outermost resin cover layer over the inside layer from an electron-beam-setting resin of a composition containing the compounds represented by formulae I and II in a weight ratio of 30/70-90/10. In the formulae, R represents H atom or a -CH3 radical, (a), (b) and (c) independently represent 0 or an integer from 1 to 4 with (a)+(b)+(c)=1-4, and (a'), (b') and (c') independently represent 0 or an integer from 1 to 8, with (a')+(b')+(c')=5-8. |
