PURPOSE:To easily confirm the contents of a document and to early detect the wrong words and omitted words in the document in order to quickly correct these words. CONSTITUTION:A storage 50 stores a document which is produced by a document editing processing part 60. When the contents of the document are confirmed, a document confirmation processing part 70 and a sound processing part 80 operate synchronously with each other under the control of a control part 100. The part 70 reads the text part of the document stored in the storage 50 by dividing the text part into the character string data of sentences of a fixed length. Then the part 70 successively magnifies the divided data and displays them on a display device 30 and also sends a relevant character string to the part 80. The part 80 refers to the word/sound dictionaries 90 and 91 to convert the received character string into the sound data and outputs this data in sounds through a sound output device 40. |
