<p>PURPOSE:To make an IC memory card highly functional by increasing the number of coils which can be connected to the inside of a coil assembly by installing the coil assembly in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the external size of the card. CONSTITUTION:A coil assembly 10 is installed in the long side part of a non- contact IC memory card 20. At the inside of this coil assembly 10, 13 coil 1a to 1m for signal and 2 coils 1n and 1o for power, for instance, are connected and incorporated. The coils for signal 1a to 1l are the ones for data signal and address signal, and the coil for signal 1m is the one for read and write control signal. Because the coils for data signal and address signal are connected by a number 1. 5 times as many as a conventional non-contact IC memory card, the number of bits which can be transferred once can be increased by 1.5 times. Because two coils for power are connected, a power twice as much as conventional becomes possible to be supplied. Therefore, the memory deive of high access time becomes possible to be used and, further, speeding up becomes possible.</p> |
