Gas sampling device for dusty and high temperature ambient

The device includes a sampling tube (1) which is inserted in the medium from where the sample is collected. The tube is cooled over its whole length by a liquid which circulates through a double envelope (2). A resistor (3) is wound on the tube to maintain its surface temperature at about 200 degrees. The gas sample flows along the tube to a heated filter (5) which separates suspended particles present in the sample. A pump (6) evacuates the particles out of the filter. The gas flow (C) thus purified is then analysed.
