PURPOSE:To insert a ring consisting of an elastic material and having a rectangular section accurately to a cylindrical body having a groove in the outer circumference thereof by inserting the ring in such conditions held between a holder and a check plate. CONSTITUTION:The head of a holder 13 fixed to a cylindrical body 15 is stopped at the lower end position of a guide tool 7. Then, a shaft 8 is caused to fall. A rod 11 fixed at the head of the shaft 8 holds down the guide tool 7 by means of a spring 12. Furthermore, a ring 16 is caused to fall by being pressed down by a check plate 9 divided in a circumferential diretion. The ring 16 is expanded to the outer diameter of a cylindrical body 1 having a groove 2 along the taper of the guide tool 7. Then, the shaft 8 is further caused to fall to hold the ring 16 between the cneck plate 9 and a holder 13, and the said ring 16 is caused to fall in such conditions to the position of the groove 2 in the cylindrical body 1. At the position, the ring 16 contracts, and being inserted into the said groove 2. |
