A golf ball is provided having a core and a cover wherein the cover comprises a blend of low flexural modulus ionomer resins. Surprisingly, such blends exhibit spin properties, coefficient of restitution, initial velocities and cut and abrasion resistance comparable to or better than golf balls of the prior art. In each case the resins have a flexural modulus of 2000 - 15000 p.s.i. and the cover has a Shore D hardness of 35 - 55. |
