Plastics mass supply and dosing gun

The gun has a battery (1) as its energy source, powering a high-rev. electric motor (2) which provides high thrust to a piston (3) via a planetary transmission (6). An AC mains-powered version is also possible. A stage switch (12) can be fitted so that the thrust speed of the piston can be regulated. The gun can be fitted with a disposable cartridge (4) and/or a refill. It can be calibrated so that a precise setting of the piston drive motor produces a precise rate of feed of the plastics mass through the spray jet (13). The threaded rod (7) may be movably coupled to the pressure plate (10).
