Method of assembling double glazing insulating panels

The first glass pane (10), supported on its outer surfaces is horizontally conveyed up to given position on a first path (3). It is then turned through 180 deg. about an axis parallel to its inner side, with simultaneous shift onto a second parallel path (8), while being held at its edge, or outer side. A second glass pane (11), supported on its outer surface, is horizontally conveyed over the first path, with one glass pane carrying on its inner surface a frame-shaped spacer. Then the two glass panes are positioned in a precisely aligned manner and assembled into an insulating panel blank and pressed together.
