Washing capsule insertion and/or removal process for cask filling machines

The capsule insertion process comprises moving the washing capsules (1) along a different track to the casks (2) for normal filling. The capsule track is at a higher level than the cask track. The insertion and removal of the capsules takes place at the same point in the filling unit motion cycle (8). The movement track of the capsules, at the end on going in, and at the beginning of going out, is roughly radial or tangential to the circular running track of the filling unit. The capsules are pressed from the side into radial holders (4) open on the outside and guided into the filling unit, then raised and pressed to the filling unit.
