Method and grate for burning solid combustion material e.g. refuse

The method for burning refuse particularly concerns the improvement of disposing the slag left on the grate. It uses primary air pref. directed from below the grate. In addition to the underneath combustion air is a whirlwind and impulses of pressurised air which is produced by different pressures. The combination of combustion and pressurised air mediums are directed from below towards the slag layer. The whirlwind air and pressurised air amounts are variably separated.
