Flood protection sack

The water-permeable sack contains small amounts of sand, gravel or other sediment (1) and precisely calculated amounts of the so-called super-absorber material. The sack volume does not exceed after the intended amount of water is absorbed, and the total weight reaches a defined value. The sack material may be of synthetic or natural fibres, special non-woven fabric, glass fibres, paper or paper-type material, or wire net or perforated metal plate. Sand, gravel etc. is contained in nets or sacks, for flat distribution in the empty sack. The super-absorber is contained in bags which permit at least a 100 times increase in volume.
