Compact lighting unit with magnetic holder for any bag or suitcase

The lighting unit (2) is installed on the inside of the bag or suitcase (1) and has batteries (7,8), an on/off switch (5) and an outlet (6) for light from the bulb. The unit is of compact rectangular shape with a bar to which a magnetic film (4) is bonded for cooperation with a ferromagnetic strip (3) glued to the interior lining. The magnetic attraction is strong enough to secure the lighting unit, but gives it a degree of freedom to be slid within limits and rotated in either direction through any desired angle, to project the light into the corners of the enclosure.
